Adult Curriculum:

An Unlikely Advent, By Rachel Billups

This four-week Advent study focuses on the experiences of four sets of often overlooked characters in the Nativity story. During this Advent season, Rachel Billups guides readers through the themes of hope, love, joy, and peace by sharing the stories of Elizabeth and Zechariah, Herod, the Magi, and the shepherds. Each set of unexpected characters has something to teach about living faithfully on the journey to Christmas.

Youth Curriculum:

Advent - Expectations vs. Reality

Advent is a season of anticipating, or expecting, the birth of Jesus and the beginning of the church calendar. In this series, we will reflect on moments in life where our realities do not live up to our expectations. We will look at how God disrupts our expectations through Jesus’ birth in the manger, provides a new possibility when Joseph’s expectations of life get disrupted, is with Mary as she is confronted with large expectations, and provides hope when the community does not live up to expectations.

Kids Curriculum:

Come help us celebrate Christmas! We will hear the Christmas story from the Bible and meet characters like Mary and Joseph, the Shepherds and the Angels as we experience and learn more about how Jesus, the Savior, was born!

Program will include games, crafts, snacks, worship and so much more!
