Between 24 to 36 months, there is a lot happening with their growth and development. A young child during this time may love to run, climb, and stomp. They refine their gross and fine motor skills through increased physical activity. They may finish 2-step instructions, finish a sentence or rhyme, or become skilled at sorting items by shape and color. Children progress at different times and we can meet every child where they are.

At ACDC, we meet and often exceed the required 1 staff to 10 children ratio.  The indoor and outdoor environment is prepared to nurture the growth and development of the growing toddler. We plan and prepare our lessons and activities through the lens of a young child and from the wealth of experience and education of our profession.

At ACDC, we:

• Offer a vibrant Chapel program so that toddlers can learn about Jesus and his love for all

• Prepare the indoor/outdoor environment to nurture the growth and development of the growing toddler

• Plan and prepare our lessons and activities through the lens of safety and love and with the wealth of experience and education of our profession

Curriculum:  Frog Street designed fun activities and materials specifically for this age group that engage children in their learning.  The depth of learning resources is further complemented by open investigations and exploration of items or concepts. The goal is to enrich the learning experiences for children and nurture the growth and development in the language, cognitive, physical, approaches to learning and social-emotional developmental domains. Their learning and growth are also supported through the application of Conscious Discipline strategies that we have been practicing for over 25 years.
